Completing and Importing the PLAAFP

This article explains how to import Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) data from the SE IEP Goals program into Section III of Amendment, Brief, IEP, and Service Plan meeting forms. It includes step-by-step instructions for both drafted and nondrafted IEP meetings, ensuring accurate data transfer for ARD committee review.

Note: The PLAAFP form can only be imported into Section III if the IEP meeting date matches between:

  • The PLAAFP form, and
  • The IEP meeting form

If the dates do not match, the system cannot associate the PLAAFP data with the correct meeting.

Overview of Importing PLAAFP Data

If you use the "Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance" (PLAAFP) form within the SE IEP Goals program, you can import that information directly into Section III of your IEP-related meeting forms.

To successfully import PLAAFP data, the IEP meeting date must match between the PLAAFP form and the meeting form.

Steps to Import PLAAFP Data (When the IEP Meeting Is Drafted)

Follow these steps if the student’s IEP meeting has already been created:

Step 1: Confirm the IEP Meeting Date

When adding the PLAAFP form, the "IEP Meeting Date" automatically populates using the meeting date from the drafted IEP meeting.

Step 2: Enter and Save PLAAFP Data
