Special Education: Class List by Subject Report

The "Class List by Subject" report pulls information from the "Instructional Schedule" in "Section IV: Determination of Services" in all IEP meeting forms.

As shown in the image below, you can find this report by choosing Reports from the top navigation menu, choosing Programs - Special Education from "Available Reports," then clicking Class List by Subject.

The report lists students who have specific subjects on their "Instructional Schedule," as well as pertinent details about the subject.

The Subject field is district-customizable and can be updated by your "District Admin."

In order for a subject to be listed on the report, the facilitator must have used the drop-down to select the subject/service in the "Instructional Schedule" chart; original text typed in the subject field is not reportable. Once the drop-down has been selected, the subject chosen cannot be altered in any way.

Running the Report

  1. After navigating to the report, click Run Report. run class list.png
  2. Select your desired parameters.
    • District: Defaults to your district of record.

    • Campus: Only campuses you have been given access to in the application appear in the drop-down for you to select.

    • Program Status: Defaults to active student statuses: "Active," "Initial," "Private/Home," and "Transferred." You can remove or add more statuses as you wish.

    • Grade: Defaults to all grades on the campus(es) you have selected. You can remove grade levels, if you choose.

    • Case Manager: Select a single case manager or choose "All."

    • Student: Defaults to "All." You can select a single student, if you prefer.

    • Subject: All subjects currently available in your "Subject" drop-down are listed here. You can select "All" or as many subjects as you like.

    • Service Type: Defaults to "All," but you can choose to only select any combination of "Direct," "Consult/Indirect," "In-Class Support," "Co-Teaching," or "Out of School."

    • Academic Year: Defaults to the current year, but you can go back to previous years or ahead to next year.

      Note: If you do not see the next school year available to choose in this field, then your "District Admin" needs to enter dates into the Academic Year Calendar for the upcoming school year.

Viewing the Report

  • Only the subjects, campuses, grade levels, students, and service types you have selected in the report parameters appear on the report.
  • Export the report to Excel, CSV, Word, or PDF formats by clicking the drop-down arrow by the floppy disk icon.

Using the Report

  • Any staff member can use this report to assist with planning for the provision of instructional services, whether that is on a campus-wide or individual caseload basis.
  • If your district also keeps records of General Education services on the "Instructional Schedule," then those subjects would also appear on this report.
