Amendment to the IEP (Without an ARD Meeting)

An amendment to the Individualized Education Program (IEP) allows revisions to a student’s IEP without convening an ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meeting, provided that both the parent and the Local Educational Agency (LEA) agree that a meeting is not necessary.

The amendment process is intended for limited revisions and cannot be used for certain required committee decisions.
