Middle of the Year Checklist

The following table can be used to better understand your middle of the year checklist items.

Update the school day calendar as needed, should unexpected school closure dates occur during the school year.    
As your school board meets to approve the upcoming school year calendar, enter those dates into the application.    
Activate and/or deactivate users as needed, should staff be hired or leave during the school year.    
Routinely generate student withdrawal reports throughout the school year to ensure student statuses are up to date.    
Ensure staff are completing COSF entry forms within 30 school days of students beginning ECSE services.    
With the influx of new students in January, it is helpful to generate reports to ensure student IEP services are in compliance. These include: Class List by Subject, Related Service by Service, Speech Therapy and/or Staff Planning.    
Consult the document learning pathway for new special education staff which outlines available training for on boarding new staff, as well as existing staff in need of a refresher.    
Encourage new and existing staff to utilize the Frontline learning center structured learning opportunities. Tips, and other useful information is specifically designed with the daily user in mind.
